Avatar

A sci-fi epic by James Cameron about paraplegic ex-Marine Jake Sully, who remotely controls a genetically engineered blue-skinned humanoid body (an "avatar") to infiltrate the Na'vi, the indigenous people of the lush moon Pandora, to mine valuable minerals, but he falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Neytiri) and joins their fight against human exploitation, becoming a hero for their world against his own kind in a story praised for its stunning visuals and themes of environmentalism and colonialism.
